When I started working out with Aaron in June of 2009, I weighed over 400 lbs. and had several physical limitations. I felt defensive and afraid of being judged, but Aaron’s easy-going style put me at ease very quickly. I was willing to work hard and welcomed being challenged physically, but I had little or no experience working out. Aaron was expert at knowing how much to push me, while also being careful to modify exercises to accommodate my limitations.

I think Aaron’s greatest asset is the quality of attention he gives to his clients. He watches clients’ form very carefully and always has creative ideas for adjusting movements to be more effective or comfortable. His creativity doesn’t end there. In over a year and a half of working with him every week, we’ve never done the same workout more than once.

I am eternally grateful to Aaron for supporting me in developing workout routines that I enjoy and am motivated to continue on my own. His challenging and encouraging style combined with his gentle demeanor have helped me change my life. In the process, I have shed almost 170 lbs. and reached unexpected levels of health and fitness. I am proud of my physical strength and my commitment to exercise as a lifetime habit.
